How do I add social media information to a contact?

Batchbook allows you to display recent information from your contact's social media accounts using the Social Media SuperTag.

The Search Social Network Button will search automatically but you can also add information manually:

To do this:

  1. Go to a contact record.
  2. Enter the tag "Social Media" in the Tag field and click the plus icon (Add Tags).
  3. Fill in the person's social media account names in the corresponding fields in the SuperTag. For example, the BatchBlue Twitter account is @batchblue, so you would type "batchblue" in the Twitter field.
  4. For the RSS fields such as Blog, you can find the RSS URL by going to the blog site, clicking the RSS icon and then copying the URL displayed in the top left corner of the page.
  5. Click Save to save the information to the record. You will now be able to view the contact's recent social media activity on their contact record.

You can see a list of all social media accounts that are included in the SuperTag.
