How do I import a CSV file?

To import a CSV file into Batchbook:

  1. Go to the Contacts tab.
  2. Click the CSV radio button, located in the Import Contacts section on the sidebar.
  3. Click the Browse... button to find the CSV file on your computer; double click the CSV file name.
  4. Select Tag Import? to add any tags to your contacts in the Tag field.
  5. Select Remove Duplicates? or Merge Duplicates? to minimize duplicated contacts.
  6. Click the Go button.

NOTE: We accept CSV imports from many of the standard export formats. See our guides on exporting from Outlook, LinkedIn, Hotmail, Thunderbird, Yahoo, and Mac address book.

NOTE: We will queue any import with 40 or more records. If your import is queued for this reason, you'll receive a message in Batchbook letting you know. We will also send you an e-mail confirmation when the records have been successfully inserted into your Batchbook account, which should happen in under five minutes.
